President Barack Obama Leads a Ray Charles Singalong Tribute at the White HouseWatch

A presidential tribute! President Barack Obama led a Ray Charles singalong at the White House while filming a PBS special on Friday, February 26.

Obama, 54, took the stage to thank performers Usher, Demi Lovato, Brittany Howard and more when he got caught up in the moment and started singing along to the late singer’s hit What’d I Say.

The President, who was also joined by wife Michelle Obama, then proceeded to call Charles one of the most brilliant and influential musicians of our time.

Earlier in the night, Obama promised the audience that he would not sing during the final In Performance event of his administration, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Over the past seven years, Michelle and I have set aside nights like this to celebrate the music that shaped America, he explained. I will not sing. But for our last one, it is fitting that we pay tribute to one of our favorites.

This wasn’t the first time that Obama burst into song onstage. During an emotional eulogy for the late Rev. Clementa Pinckney in June 2015, he paused his speech to sing a few lines of Amazing Grace.

Charles died on June 10, 2004, at the age of 73.

Financial outsourcing or what?

Outsourcing or Puritanism Financial outsourcing or what?

Puritanism in Bangladesh, including outsourcing or economic driving force in many countries based on corruption. Especially young people who want to run the study, as well as for the cost of his own pocket. Supposedly Sober Scott Disick Caught Partying With a Beer in Hand

No, Scott Disick, no! For the past few months, it really seemed as if Kourtney Kardashian's ex (and the father of her three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign) had changed his hard-partying ways, even completing a stint in rehab. But this week, pics have surfaced of Scott out on the town with a beer in hand -- and rumor has it that beer was just one of many drinks.

Scott was spotted getting his groove (and drank) on at NYC's Up&Down club on Tuesday, where he watched Fetty Wap perform and then allegedly spent the rest of the evening boozing it up at Wap's table. And that's not all: According to TMZ, the good times reportedly kept on a-rolling on Thursday night when Scott went clubbing yet again, this time with a bunch of models.

Obviously, this could potentially be very bad news for Scott's relationship with Kourt, which has appeared so amicable lately that fans have wondered if maybe a reconciliation might be in the works though, to be fair, fans are always wondering that. After all, Kourtney only agreed to let Scott start seeing the kids again on the condition that he stay sober, and that's clearly not happening.

But what about all the tears and remorse Scott displayed on a recent episode of KUWTK over his bad behavior and the damage he's done to his family? Old habits are hard to break, of course, and addiction is no joke, but it's still worrisome to see him off the wagon again so soon.

And some sources say it's a lot worse than a few beers: According to one rumor, in a Lamar Odom-esque twist, Scott was found unresponsive in his bed on January 31st after an epic bender involving cocaine, vodka, beer and Viagra.

Of course, that particular rumor might be just that a rumor but it's gonna be pretty tough for Scott to explain those beer-in-hand photos, which certainly seem like proof that he's not just "drinking water" when he goes out, as he's been insisting. Hey, maybe Scott pulled himself together in rehab enough to be able to handle a few beers ... but maybe not. Time will certainly tell!

Jeremy Scott Talks 'Powerpuff Girls' x Moschino What's Next in His Cartoon Couture World

One of the fashion world’s most colorful creatures, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott, popped in to the Italian fashion house’s West Hollywood boutique Thursday night to celebrate the brand’s collaboration with Cartoon Network's Powerpuff Girls, who were featured in Moschino’s Carwash Couture spring 2016 collection.

Guests including singer-songwriter Justine Skye and Empire's Serayah McNeill, both 20, were in their element as they milled about the Powerpuff paraphernalia which harkened back to the show's debut in 1998 — when they were both of cartoon-watching age.

NAACP
The brightly-lit space was filled wall-to-wall with sugar, spice and everything nice (that is, cookies, cocktails and a photobooth with props) as well as the funky, pop art-like collection starring Blossom, Bubbles and ButterCup. The 18-piece-collection of accessories, sweaters, dresses and swimwear ($80 - $1,250), is now available in stores and online — just in time for Cartoon Network's new animated reboot out this spring.

Pret a Reporter chatted with Scott about his love of cartoons (The Looney Toons, Super Mario Brothers and Spongebob have all been featured on his Moschino runways) as well as what's up next for his own line.

hey're the same team that does Spongebob. For my first Moschino collection I did a Spongebob collaboration and I think that all just came about because I had taken a Spongebob toy that I found at the the flea market, and I dipped it in gold and I had it gold-plated and put it on a necklace and I wore it at the end of my show. And they were like, 'We think you like Spongebob.

and I was like, 'I love Spongebob.' So they were like, 'If you ever want to work with us, then let’s do something.

So that’s how I got to know the group, so when I was thinking of things and the carwash — somehow the Powerpuff girls made me think of carwash because they’re kind of like, flying around. Maybe it was Bubbles.

There was something very abstract in my head but there’s something that connects. And I was working on this print, the “Fresh” print, and I thought they would be so cute having this element in here. And it just kind of all fell together.

Jen Atkin Launches OUAI Haircare Among Celebrity Friends in L.A.

I haven’t always been a fan of the Powerpuff Girls — I mean, I love them, but they’re probably after my generation of first watching cartoons. Sad to say, but I do think they’re adorable. I love their girl power spirit.

I don’t know, I love them all, but I guess I’m more of a Bubbles. I’m always very upbeat, you know, I’m less gloomy but I’m always kind of like, ‘Yeah it’s fine, I’ll get it done’ — even when things are awful I’m always like [high-pitch voice], ‘It’s OK.

Well we did the Looney Toons collaboration last fall and that was really fun, and the Super Mario Brothers capsule collection, so yeah I’m kind of cartoon couture over here. But I love it. I love that it has memories for people and it connects to people and it’s a different kind of bridging a gap of something new with something familiar — in a way sort of blurring it together.

It’s just a love, actually. I love those things and I remember playing Super Mario Brothers when I was little and just having fun with it, and I thought, 'Well gosh, yeah I’d love to have a backpack with like all the characters on it.

So some of that stuff is like that — it’s fulfilling childhood fantasies and things like that. And I love that it does connect and it’s kind of like, you know, people are like, 'Oh my god, I love that!' Or it’s nostalgic — to give a little shout out to something I loved as a kid.

Good! I mean, you know, it just comes a long so I just have to be open and ready for it. I mean, I’ve done all my work so it’s really more now just the everything just coming together.

Couple Gets Wed Just Seconds After Meeting in Person for 1st Time at California Airport

Couple meets online, weds at first sight

Just seconds after meeting each other in person for the first time, Erica Harris and Arte Vann got "married" in the middle of LA/Ontario International Airport in Ontario, California, this past Friday.

The spontaneous wedding was a fitting one for the nontraditional couple who "randomly met on Instagram about a year ago," according to Harris, a 36-year-old, formerly single mother of three from Murietta, California.

Harris told ABC News today she found Vann -- the "man of my dreams" from Earlton, New York -- through his comments on a mutual friend's page. Like Harris, Vann was part of a niche community of writers sharing poems through the social photo-sharing app.

The two flirted in the form of "likes" and "comments" on each other's poems and photos, which eventually progressed to direct messages and then to long phone calls at night, Harris said.

Three weeks ago, a mutual friend in an Instagram group chat with Harris and Vann asked, "Why don't you guys just get hitched already?" Harris said. The two then got "InstaEngaged" and immediately made plans to "elope," she said.

Vann, 40, informed his landlord he would be leaving his apartment in New York, resigned from his job as head chef at a local restaurant and bought a one-way ticket to California, Harris said, adding that "the rest is history."

After his plane landed this past Friday evening, the two held each other for the first time, exchanged rings and vows and got "InstaMarried," Harris said. She added that they had a honeymoon adventure in San Diego this past weekend.

Though the newlyweds still have some logistics to work out -- such as figuring out where they want to permanently live, how to get an official marriage certificate and how to break the news to the whole family Harris said she can't think of a better person to figure out the rest of life with.

"If someone like me can get a love like this -- the kind of love fairy tales and romance novels are made of anyone else can," she said. "It seems so crazy, but it's really a beautiful story. I'm so grateful for the overwhelming love and joy I have in my life, and we want to share it with others."
